“I chose to be a part of the Multicultural Greek Council because I could see the amazing support and inspiration it gives its members. I remember seeing how active each member was within their own communities and it inspired me to learn more of MGC. Once I joined MGC it became the first community to provide me with a home and safe space to grow. Through MGC I was able to foster many relationships and received many opportunities to pursue my passion of being a student leader.”
Executive Vice President
Damion Huynh
“I love that MGC is made up of such a diverse community of leaders. Despite all coming from different backgrounds, we share experiences and are all a part of one big community”
Vice President of Programming

“One of my favorite memories was all the love and support I felt the first time going to Market Wednesday as a Neophyte. This feeling is the reason why I am so passionate about increasing the outreach of our community. MGC advocated for so many different groups and I feel it is what makes our council so unique. Additionally, I joined the exec board because I wanted to be a part of the planning on how to not only continue our impact but expand on it.”
Vice President of Finance

This supportive network of friends and students has helped me find my place on campus and discover a sense of belonging that I'll forever cherish. Through MGC, I've had the privilege of connecting with individuals from various cultural backgrounds. Learning about their traditions, customs, and stories has broadened my horizons, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for diversity. These interactions have expanded my worldview and instilled in me a profound respect for the beauty that comes from our differences.”

“I chose MGC because I want to help foster a community for minority students as well as give them the opportunity to give back to their community. The multicultural Greek council is a unique mixture of different backgrounds coming together for the purpose of bettering the lives of all people at The Florida State University, as well as enriching the already diverse cultures that are here on this campus.”
